The YBW-40.5/1.14-5500 Prefabricated Substation is an integrated power distribution solution that combines transformer, medium-voltage switchgear, and low-voltage distribution systems within a single compact enclosure. Operating on the fundamental principle of electromagnetic induction, this substation efficiently steps down the 37kV distribution voltage to 1.14kV utilization voltage through its advanced core and winding design.

The unit employs a completely sealed tank structure with nitrogen-filled insulation that prevents moisture ingress and maintains dielectric strength in challenging environments. As part of a comprehensive product series covering American, Chinese, and European styles with capacities up to 10 MVA, this prefabricated substation features exceptional environmental adaptability for sandstorm, extreme cold, high humidity, and salt fog conditions. Its factory-tested modular design ensures rapid deployment and reliable operation for wind farm applications covering 2MW-10MW units.
