The system features a non-sinusoidal waveform output where each rectifier arm conducts sequentially. This results in an intermittent rectangular current waveform. Special attention is given to filtering design to manage harmonic components and prevent increased eddy current losses caused by thyristor rectification.
The rectifier transformer is designed for high short-circuit dynamic stability. By optimizing winding structures and materials, we enhance mechanical strength. The capacity calculation follows equivalent capacity methods (average of primary and secondary sides) to ensure stability in half-wave rectification scenarios.
Perfectly suited for the electrochemical industry (electrolytic aluminum, chlor-alkali), power traction (mining locomotives), and DC transmission. It supports a wide voltage regulation range (5%~105%) through tapping or phase-shifting technology while maintaining low noise and high efficiency.
Compared to ordinary power transformers, our rectifier units feature approximately 30% higher impedance design to cope with sudden load changes on the DC side. The lower temperature rise limit ensures long-term reliability even in 40ºC environments with 110% overload operation.
